Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, with a particular emphasis on plumbing systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plumbing infrastructure, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise a team of maintenance staff and external contractors.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and repair costs.
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective solutions for all facility needs.
  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance tasks and repairs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, with a strong background in plumbing.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or facilities management.
  • Must have security clearance.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to perform maintenance tasks directly.
