We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our clients team after a huge expansion in the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their workshop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while meeting KPI targets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all workshop operations, including scheduling, production, and quality control
- Implement and maintain KPI targets and ensure they are met
- Manage and optimize CNC machine operations
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols
- Train and mentor workshop staff
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency
- Analyze and improve operational processes to enhance overall productivity and quality
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a workshop or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations and related processes
- Demonstrated success in running KPIs and achieving efficiency targets
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth understanding of workshop operations, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Ability to analyze and improve operational processes
Day-to-day
- Oversee daily workshop operations, assigning tasks and ensuring production targets are met
- Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Train and mentor staff to ensure consistent performance and quality
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflow and resolve any operational issues
- Conduct regular safety and quality inspections to maintain a safe and high-quality working environment
Package
- 40000 to 50000 per year depending on experience
