Production Manager

Salary: £43,000

Location: Slough

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 2 off rotating shifts (AM: 6:45 am - 3:30 pm, PM: 3:45 pm - 12:30 am)

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Manager to join our team and lead our site production crew in delivering an efficient and high-quality commercial laundry operation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who values autonomy, leadership, and the chance to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:As a Production Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop the site production team, including Key Operators and Team Leaders, to ensure a motivated and engaged workforce.
  • Oversee staff training and conduct performance reviews to achieve and surpass KPIs.
  • Plan shifts to meet budgetary targets and manage absences according to policy.
  • Drive service, cost, and quality performance by regularly reviewing operations and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Promote productivity enhancements to boost efficiency, quality, and service levels within budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with customer services to address queries and requests.
  • Uphold standards for quality, health and safety, hygiene, and housekeeping across the site.

Your Skills and Experience:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven leadership experience within a production or similar operational environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a focus on efficiency.
  • An aptitude for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with team members and stakeholders.
