* Duration: initially for 3 months
* Payrate : 25 UMB
Role Overview: The Senior Temporary Accommodation Officer will be responsible for managing the proper lettings of temporary accommodation for those who have approached the Council for housing advice and assistance. This role involves ensuring compliance with the Homeless Reduction Act 2017 and maintaining a working knowledge of relevant legislation, statutes, case law, and Council policies. Key responsibilities include processing TA void properties and managing moves to minimize reliance on Bed and Breakfast/Hotel accommodation.
Working Arrangements: This role is hybrid, requiring attendance at the Council Offices in Slough at least two days per week. Initially, a more frequent office presence will be necessary for adequate training and learning. An increased office presence may also be required depending on service demands.
