As an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality art lessons that align with the national curriculum.
- Inspiring students to explore various art forms, techniques etc.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creative expression and experimentation.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the art and photography curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Preparing students for exhibitions and showcasing their artistic and photographic talents.
Qualifications and Attributes as an Art Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Art.
- A strong understanding of the art and photography curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Passion for art and photography and the ability to inspire and engage students in meaningful creative projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Strong classroom management skills, creating an environment conducive to artistic and photographic exploration.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in art and photography education.
