Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Slough on a supply, temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality English lessons to students across various key stages.
About the Role:
- Teach English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential opportunities across other key stages.
- Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive learning environment for all students.
- Support and guide students to achieve their best outcomes.
- Take on standard teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and attending staff meetings.
About You:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be in the process of obtaining it.
- A strong passion for teaching English and helping students develop a love for literature and language.
- Experience in teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (desirable but not essential).
- A positive, proactive approach to classroom management and lesson delivery.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
