Robert Half are proud to be partnering with an established and leading Housebuilder based in Solihull to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.
As Financial Accountant based in Solihull you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting with financial tasks associated with month end, for example, closing the ledgers, running reports, and updating records
- Providing input into the production of monthly management reports and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting in the preparation of the annual budget for several business units
- Leading on the annual group consolidation and support with annual group statutory accounts under IFRS
- Supporting with the audit of group entities
- Leading in the preparation of annual statutory accounts under IFRS, FRS 101, 102
- Supporting with annual tax returns
- Providing coaching and development support to the Assistant Financial Accountant
- Maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
The successful Financial Accountant will have the following experience and qualifications:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify variances
- Experience completing complex reconciliations and preparing/reviewing financial statements
As Financial Accountant you will be entitled to the following:
- £50,000 - £60,000 per annum excluding bonus
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
- Market leading pension
- 25 days annual leave excluding bank holidays
