A Global Service company are searching to increase their finance team, by introducing an Accounts Payable Assistant. Within this role you will gain the chance to gain greater exposure to all areas of finance, as well as working alongside an incredible team.

The successful individual will be an someone who can manage daily bank reconciliations, payments/invoices processing and have involvement in raising overrides. In this role, you will have exposure to the payables ledger, creating monthly reports and reporting directly to the Finance Manager. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be a part of a sociable team, who only look to provide the best service to clients and stakeholders. You will have the chance to be involved in projects to improve processes and progress within the company.

Skills required

  • Ideally a knowledge of the accountancy software, SAGE, and a knowledge of Excel, ideally with practical application.
  • Practical exposure to reconciliations and invoices processing.
  • Be a confident and outgoing individual with great communication skills, as you will regularly engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Be an ambitious and hard-working individual, who is looking to further their career and gain valuable knowledge from experts within the field.
  • Have great time management and organisational skills, to enable you to hit a number of tight client deadlines on a weekly and monthly basis.
