IT Recruitment Manager Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout recruitment campaigns and following successful placements to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
  • Position yourself as an expert in the IT sector by sharing recruitment guidance, best practices and insights with existing and prospective clients
  • Liaise with clients to fully understand their recruitment needs, enabling you to provide tailored recruitment solutions
  • Utilise job boards, social media, networking events, and the CRM to source candidates
  • Screen candidates to understand their needs and assess their suitability for jobs
  • Identify new business opportunities, building close-knit relationships with decision makers to influence decisions and encourage business
  • Create tailored recruitment presentations and proposals for prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to secure new business
  • Lead a team of recruiters, working with the team to set and achieve KPIs
  • Collaborate with the wider team to develop and deliver effective recruitment strategies

IT Recruitment Manager Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in IT recruitment, confident recruiting for developers, engineers, analysts, cybersecurity specialists and IT project managers
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of various IT tools, software, and certifications
  • Possesses excellent leadership and managerial skills, able to lead and inspire a high-performing team
  • Proven track record of the entire sales cycle, confident in identifying and winning new business, negotiating terms, and closing sales
  • Driven and ambitious, with a history of exceeding targets and KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport and close-knit relationships with clients and candidates
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple accounts and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
