About the Role

We are partnering with a highly respected national client experience high growth to recruit a dynamic and experienced Depot Manager / General Manager. Based at their flagship site in Solihull, this role is central to ensuring seamless operations across all divisions including warehousing, logistics, SHEQ, customer service and asset management. The Role Includes:

  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily depot operations, including warehousing, logistics, customer service and asset management.
    • Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire a team of up to 15 staff members.
    • Foster a culture of development and accountability.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Maintain outstanding customer service standards.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to align operational delivery with client needs.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
    • Provide performance updates to senior management.
