An automotive component manufacturer who are going through exciting changes in the UK, require a Process Engineer to be responsible for the maintenance and running of the plant paint and glue processes. Previous experience in automotive paint/glue systems is essential for this role.Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon, Redditch Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 p.a. Suitable for: Paint Process Technician, Process Engineer, Robot Technician, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer The Role Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will have the following responsibilities:-The maintenance and running of the plant paint/glue process. -Identify and report any difficulties related to the product, process and quality. -Provide technical support to Production and Engineering. -Create and manage budget for the year. -Assist in the development and maintenance of FMEA's control plans and IATF 16949 documentation. The Person Educated to a minimum of HNC in a manufacturing related to discipline you will have the following experience: -Previous experience with automotive paint/glue, finishing and robotics is essential.-ABB Robot experience is desirable.-Knowledge of Siemens PLC control systems is essential.-Experience in the upkeep of spray equipment is essential.
