Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on preparing students for GCSE success.
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
Supporting the development of literacy skills across the school.
Managing behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
Working closely with colleagues in the English department to develop curriculum resources and best practices.
Taking part in extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English at secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
A passion for English and the ability to inspire a love for literature and language.
A valid DBS check on the update service.
