We are working with a secondary school in Solihull who are looking for a part-time SENCO to carry out a long-term position.Within the school, you will be working specifically with children who have ECHPs related to anxiety and mental wellbeing.The role is to start after February half-term and, in the first instance, will run till Easter, but could extend till the end of the academic year.Please find below more information:

  • The school requires someone to work 2 days per week and is flexible as to what days would suit the person concerned
  • The role is on temporary time sheet basis and the working day is from 8:30am - 3:30pm.
  • The role is not classroom based and there is no teaching required
  • The school has a very small cohort at the school, and you would be working with pupils with ECHPs for SEMH needs
  • You will be required to carry out the full role of SENCO completing all paperwork, liaising with SLT and teaching staff on strategies as well as linking in with outside agencies related to the pupils support
