Job Advertisement: School Administrative Support (Full-Time, Temporary)Location: CroydonHours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMDuration: Temporary until MarchRate: £16-£19 per hour dependent on experienceKey Responsibilities: Looked-After Children (LAC):
- Liaise with social services for new LAC admissions.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for PEP meetings, ensuring follow-up is recorded in the school system.
- Monitor attendance and behaviour issues of LACs, liaising with school staff, carers, and external agencies to support improvement.
Safeguarding Procedures:
- Maintain CPOMs, ensuring all staff have access and use it effectively, transferring any information outside of the system into CPOMs as required.
- Ensure all safeguarding records of new admissions are correctly held within CPOMs.
- Maintain the Safeguarding log, ensuring it is up to date and actioned.
Student Behaviour:
- Manage the detention log, ensuring timely information on detentions is provided to students, parents, and staff.
- Ensure all behaviour and pastoral reports, and other behaviour incidents, are correctly filed onto SIMs.
- Prepare all behaviour-related documents and letters for behaviour thresholds.
- Prepare all packs and paperwork for Schools Inclusive Practice Forum and other 'Off-site directions'.
- Produce behaviour data for governors.
- Prepare behaviour documents, such as personal support plans and student reports.
Support for Deputy Head Teacher Pastoral:
- Prepare all packs for permanent exclusion panels, return from suspension meetings, and behaviour stage meetings.
- Keep accurate and meticulous records and files of suspensions and permanent exclusions.
Support for Pastoral Coordinators and Key Staff:
- Ensure high-quality administrative support for the bi-weekly pastoral meeting.
- Ensure high-quality administrative support for the bi-weekly safeguarding meeting.
- Ensure daily behaviour points, parking, and toilet use reports are produced and submitted to relevant staff.
Administration
- Carry out appropriate administrative tasks as directed by the School Business Manager, working as a team to ensure SST fulfils all required work, including:
- Coordination of assemblies and liturgies.
- Timely reprographic service for teaching staff.
- Organisation of whole-school celebratory events.
- Preparation and distribution of the School Newsletter.
- Coordination of trips and activities.
C. Cover Arrangements:
- Work with the relevant IMT colleague to arrange cover for absent teaching staff.
Requirements:
- An enhanced DBS is required for this role.
