Adecco are currently recruiting for a Project Support Officer for a Local Authority in the South London area.

  • Monday- Friday, 36 hours per week
  • Temporary role - 3-month assignment (possibility of extension)
  • £200 DAILY UMBRELLA

*This will be a hybrid role, with the need to be in the office 2-3 days per week(Bernard Weatherill House,Croydon). You will also be required to work in the office full time for the first 2-3 weeks for training *

The client is after someone who can also demonstrate 'hands on' ability to support communication and change aspects of project management.For example, the client has an upcoming high profile supplier engagement event where they will be looking to bring together over 100 key suppliers with key note speakers (including the Mayor) and breakout sessions - they'd ike an individual who can manage the delivery of this

Purpose of The Role:

  • ? Monitoring and reporting on progress, resources & finance/costings.
  • ? Contribution to the drafting of specifications, policies and processes.
  • ? Overseeing project stages, mitigating risks and solving issues.
  • ? Providing critical input at all stages of the project to inform task and direction.
  • ? Undertaking quality assurance through collation of data, auditing or compliance checks.
  • ? Scheduling meetings and setting agendas for the project team.
  • ? Internal and external stakeholder management ? Updating project records and documentation.

Qualifications/ Experience required:

  • Experience of assisting in the management of programmes or projects.
  • Experience of Project Delivery
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse audience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a good level of numeracy, and the ability to present complex matters in a range of formats.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with a range of stakeholders including colleagues, residents, consultants and contractors dealing with a range of issues sometimes sensitive or contentious.
