The Role: ADHD Support Worker - Croydon - Primary School

As an ADHD Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with ADHD, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop the skills needed to thrive academically and socially. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and the school's leadership team to implement strategies and interventions that promote positive behaviour, focus, and learning for students with ADHD. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.

Key Responsibilities: ADHD Support Worker - Croydon - Primary School

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with ADHD, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in implementing individualized behaviour management plans and learning strategies to support students' needs.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to adapt and differentiate the curriculum to support students' learning styles.
  • Foster a positive, structured, and supportive environment that encourages focus and reduces distractions for students with ADHD.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, behaviour, and emotional well-being, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, helping them build confidence, self-regulation, and positive peer relationships.
  • Promote the school's policies around inclusion, well-being, and behaviour management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for supporting students with ADHD across the school.
