This rewarding role focuses on delivering interventions and providing tailored support to children within the school's Special Educational Needs provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with children with Special Educational Needs, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Deliver structured interventions to small groups and individuals, fostering confidence and progress (e.g., maths catch-up or emotional well-being activities).
  • Collaborate with the SEN team and class teachers to implement effective support strategies.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages engagement and positive learning outcomes.
  • Adapt resources and learning activities to meet the specific needs of each child.

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or experience working in a primary school setting are essential.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Knowledge of intervention strategies and SEN best practices is an advantage.
