Job Role: Production Team Leader (Food Manufacturing)
Location: Southall, West London
Salary: £39,000 per annum
Hours: 3 on 3 off days and nights (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)
Duties & Responsibilities
•Ensure your personal compliance, and that of the team, with the Company’s Food Safety, GMP and Hygiene policies and procedures at all times.
•Ensure that ingredient, work in progress and finished product traceability is maintained at all times.
•Fully understand the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the area
•Deliver the expected performance for the classic/artisan production area, driving the team to exceed targets.
•Manage holidays for the team and organize appropriate cover as necessary within the company guidelines and policies
•Manage the training and skills of the Production Operatives, ensuring all employees are trained to perform their roles and duties.
•Engage fully with the production team (e.g. by holding meetings) where required.
Experienced required:
• Supervisory/Team Leader experience within a food production environment is essential
• Ability to work in a face paced environment
• Good IT Skills and ability to use, Word, Excel
• Good understanding & able to demonstrate people management skills
• Understanding of health and safety requirements
