Driver Hire Southampton is offering an exciting opportunity for 7.5T Drivers to join a well-established company based in Southampton. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering home improvement materials to both commercial and residential properties, with assistance from a driver's mate.
About the Role:
- Vehicle: Driving a 7.5T truck.
- Shift Start Time: Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
- Contract Length: 3-4 month contract, working 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday).
- Shifts: 8 to 10 hours per day, with potential for overtime.
- Key Duties:
- Delivering home improvement goods across the South Coast.
- Heavy lifting involved, with the assistance of a driver's mate for manual handling and directions.
- Ensuring safe, timely deliveries to commercial and residential areas.
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
- No DD's or DR's on your driving record.
- Own transport for commuting to work.
- Minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5T vehicle.
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Willing to work alongside a driver's mate for lifting and route assistance.
- Good local knowledge of the South Coast area.
