We have an opportunity for HR Business Partner to join a busy People & Culture Team in Southampton. You will be partnering with senior leadership teams of a division. You will be providing proactive and professional HR Advice and guidance on a range of complex people-management issues. Key duties
- Strategic Partnering:Work closely with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Employee Relations:Providing expert advice on complex employee relations issues and working with an HR Advisor
- Talent Management:Develop and implement recruitment, retention, and development strategies.
- Policy Development:Create and enforce HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and best practices.
- Performance Management:Support managers in performance appraisals and employee development plans.
- Change Management:Lead HR initiatives related to organisational change, ensuring smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
- Education:CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
- Experience:Proven experience in a Senior HR advisory or HR Business Partner role within complex large-scale unionised environments.
- Skills:Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation including presenting to directors on People & Culture data/reporting.
- Knowledge:In-depth understanding of employment law and HR best practices.

Working in Southampton but Hybrid, working with 2-3 days on site.
