Reed Education Southampton are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious leader to support the Principal, staff and students at a large Secondary school based in Southampton, to deliver ‘Excellence by all, for all”.

As the Director of Excellence, you will be responsible for delivering significantly improved progress in the core subject area of Mathematics and Science supported by a passionate and highly capable team.

For this role, you will be/will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status with degree in Maths or Science subject
  • Evidence of recent, relevant professional development
  • Excellent teaching experience and a proven track record of success in improving outcomes in Mathematics or Science
  • Ability to use data effectively to set targets and improve behaviour and attendance
  • Good personal skills, able to work hard and remain fully committed, even when under pressure
