They are currently seeking a dynamic and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our college.

Job Summary: As an Administrative Assistant at a College is Grays, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily administrative functions of our college. You will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the efficient and effective running of administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to faculty, staff, and students, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
  • Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Coordinate and organize college events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to students, parents, and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring that inventory is maintained and orders are placed as needed.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff and faculty, including preparing orientation materials
  • and arranging training sessions.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of college policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • A positive and professional attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
