Assistant Engineering Manager opportunity with excellent career prospects. This interesting and varied role is witha specialist aviation component repair organisation and involves the coordination of teams of specialist engineering staff, customer liaison and trouble shooting.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate Across Disciplines:
    • Work seamlessly with various trades to ensure smooth production task completion.
  • Provide Technical Guidance:
    • Help shape new repair processes and troubleshoot existing engineering challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Seek out and introduce industry best practice across the business.
  • Flexibility - This role is supporting the Engineering manager and as such you may be called upon to be involved in any aspect of the business.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Hands-On Engineering Background:
    • Ideally with aviation component repair experience & understanding
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Strong communication, teamwork, self-initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Quality Assurance Awareness:
    • Understand Quality requirements in aviation repair (ideally component repair).
  • Organisational and Communication:
    • Excellent organisational, general IT and communication skills.
