Role Overview:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Foundation Learning Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, inclusive education to foundation learners, helping them develop the skills and confidence to succeed in their academic journey and beyond.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the needs of foundation learners.
  • Provide personalized support to students to help them achieve their goals.
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance as necessary.
  • Develop and update course materials and resources that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to provide holistic support to students.
  • Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed.

Key Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience in teaching or supporting students with additional learning needs or in foundation learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to student success and providing tailored support.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • An understanding of the challenges faced by foundation learners and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
