Your new company

Hays Education are working with a Primary school in Southport, who are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This will be a long-term role starting as soon as possible.

Your new role

You will be working with KS1 and KS2, supporting the class teacher, managing behaviour, completing 1:1 work and group work with pupils. This role will involve supporting students in the SEN department.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will need a full DBS/Documents to apply for one as well as:

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 3)
  • Have previous experience working with children within the last 2 years
  • Two references for work within a school/with children
  • Experience supporting SEN pupils (desirable)
