About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will report directly to the Site Maintenance Manager and collaborate closely with the production and technical teams. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing lines by performing both preventative and reactive maintenance. You will be essential in minimising downtime and maintaining high levels of productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in line with production schedules
  • Collaborating with production and technical teams to keep equipment running efficiently
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency


The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a dedicated Multi-Skilled Engineer who is passionate about their work and eager to be part of a team that values innovation and quality. The ideal candidate will have:

A qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (such as ONC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical & Electrical/Electronic Engineering)

A strong track record in engineering and fault-finding, ideally within an FMCG environment, preferably in the food industry
