Gorhambury Estate is a traditional rural estate which comprises a variety of let residential, commercial and agriculture property as well as the home of the Grimston family who have lived on the estate for generations.

The estate is diverse and as such the activities are divided into the following areas:

  • Gardens & Grounds
  • Stables
  • House Management
  • The Roman Theatre
  • The Estate

About the Role:

The role of an Administrative Assistant is to ensure that the estate is organised and effectively

maintained on a day-to-day basis. This role consists of being first point of contact for all administrative tasks for all stakeholders of the estate.

The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills. The candidate will have the ability to multitask and manage complex schedules. They will work alongside the Estate Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the estate from all aspects as well as be an administrative support for Gorhambury Interiors. Due to the diverse areas of the estate, the Administrative Assistant will have a high level of professionalism with the ability to adapt to different circumstances, environments and will have a high level of prioritisation skills

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven administrative experience in a similar environment and role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Creative background with an interest in history and The Gorhambury Estate

Please note this is a full-time role based at the Gorhambury Estate, five days a week, between 8 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be considered in correlation with Estate needs.
