Day-to-day of the role:- Maximise the potential of new and existing clients, principally through outbound verbal engagement.
- Build strong personal relationships with new and existing clients.
- Negotiate with clients and suppliers to secure the best terms.
- Submit quotes, overcome objections, and convert opportunities to win business.
- Guide clients through the administrative requirements of shipping post-Brexit.
- Manage accounts effectively, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings and account reviews, either via Teams or face-to-face as circumstances permit.
- Friendly telephone manner and energetic, enthusiastic personality.
- Strong negotiating skills and good attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a desire to succeed in a competitive environment.
- Experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
