- Providing essential support to conveyancing partners, assisting with various tasks throughout the conveyancing process.
- Effectively communicating and liaising with clients, mortgage lenders, and other relevant third parties to ensure smooth transaction progress.
- Drafting and managing correspondence with clients, preparing necessary documentation, and reviewing replies to requisitions on title.
- Proactively identifying and procuring suitable indemnity insurance policies to mitigate potential risks.
- Preparing completion statements, payment slips, and telegraphic transfers for partner review and approval.
- Conducting property searches, analysing title deeds, and preparing necessary documents for first registration with the Land Registry.
- Scheduling deed completion, preparing final letters, and ensuring accurate recording of undertakings.
- Contributing to other conveyancing tasks as required by the firm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Experience working within a legal framework and adhering to professional codes of conduct.
- A qualification as a Legal Executive or Paralegal would be an advantage.
