Repairs Manager  Temporary Opportunity via BRC Jobs:               Repairs Manager Location:        Cornwall Sector:            Housing & Property   Contract:        Temp – 6 Months  Day rate:         £320 per day Start Date:      ASAP    BRC are working with a reputable Housing  Association in Cornwall to recruit a property services repairs supervisor, where you will be responsible for managing X2 supervisors who oversee a team of trades carrying out repairs, cyclical and planned maintenance to tenanted and void properties  Main Responsibilities: 
  1. Provide effective and efficient line management of operational staff who undertake servicing, repairs and renewals across Cornwall in both tenanted and void properties
  2. Managing a team of X2 Repairs Supervisors who oversee up to 30 trades staff carrying out repairs and maintenance
  3. You’ll be responsible for enabling the smooth running of the maintenance services and in-house workforce teams to create safe homes for customers
  4. Improving service performance ensuring customers are receiving a good quality service and providing staff with advice and guidance and service performance reviews
  5. Ensure all works are being carried out on time and within budget, monitoring any areas that require reviewing further or needing further focus
  6. Ensure all information is collated and updated onto spreadsheets, supporting with the implementation of IT projects/digitalisation of repairs
  7. Liaise with other teams and the board to feedback areas for improvement and review budgets
  Job Requirements:  
  1. Qualification in relevant building trade to NVQ 2 or equivalent
  2. Previous experience managing a team
  3. Experience managing budgets, managing complaints and understanding of health & safety responsibilities in the workplace
  4. A full driving licence
