We are looking for a Financial Controller in the manufacturing sector to manage all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The role is based in St Helens.

Description
- Managing all aspects of finance and accounting operations, overseeing a team of transactional finance members
- Preparing and publishing monthly and year-end reports
- Working with external auditors to support with year end audits
- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting, working closely with the MD
- Conducting analysis of sales & margin
- Reviewing / overseeing payroll processing and submission, etc.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A relevant qualification (or be qualified by experience)
- The ability to work autonomously
- Experience in both management and financial accounting
Although not essential, experience gained in a manufacturing business would be advantageous.
Job Offer
This role offers a salary in the region of £55,000 to £65,000, level dependent on experience. This is a full time office based position, meaning you will work from the offices near Haydock 5 days per week. There is some flexibility with hours, and an early finish on a Friday. You'll join a supportive and collaborative working environment with opportunities for professional development.
