About the role of a Construction Planner
The main purpose of this role is to assist and prepare pre-tender and tender programmes, method statements and working with the Projects Managers and their teams in delivering projects safely within the time set, and ensuring that all programmes are compliant with all the project requirements. Thereafter you will be required to work as a site based Senior Project Planner.
If you are a Planner / Senior Planner, proficient in Asta Powerproject and looking to help shape some of the most prestigious projects in the North-West, whilst working for a fast paced, dynamic organisation this could be the opportunity for you.
Experience/Qualifications for a Construction Planner
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
- Previous experience on construction / building projects such as (Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, MOJ, Residential or Leisure) is essential.
- Ability to analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Update daily the latest progress into the Microsoft Project schedule coordinating with subcontractors.
- Work closely with the relevant quantity surveyor to ensure they are aligned with the programme for commercial forecasting.
- Submit fortnightly programme updates into the client in line with NEC contractual clauses.
