Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Quality Manager to join their business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Drive our food safety culture programme, promoting compliance, accountability, and a quality-first mindset across the site.
* Mentor, train, and assess the QA team to build future leaders while embedding a quality-focused culture throughout the business.
* Support and lead third-party and customer audits, ensuring robust corrective actions and preventative measures are implemented.
* Collaborate with technical teams to uphold industry-leading standards, keeping our processes compliant with all regulations and codes of practice.
* Use QA audits and KPI reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and exceed customer expectations.
* Play a critical role in HACCP compliance, including monitoring, validation, and ensuring product safety and legality at every step.
* Lead our Environmental Monitoring and Listeria Management programmes, investigating and implementing solutions.
* Investigate and resolve customer complaints, delivering clear root cause analyses and effective corrective actions.
* Oversee pest control programmes and ensure raw material intake meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
* Work with Senior Management, Commercial, and Operations teams to align quality initiatives with business goals.
About you:
* Proven track record in a similar role in food manufacturing
* Competent understand of retailer standards
* Experience in team management
