Job Description:
Join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Staffordshire as a Social Worker and play a key role in ensuring the safety and welfare of vulnerable children and families. This dynamic, fast-paced environment allows you to collaborate with multiple agencies, providing a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in safeguarding children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial child safety assessments and manage your caseload.

  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and law enforcement, to create and implement intervention plans.

  • Ensure compliance with social work legislation and best practices.

  • Maintain accurate records and participate in case reviews.

  • Provide vital support and guidance to families.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised social work qualification (e.g., BSc or MA in Social Work).

  • Registration with Social Work England or equivalent.

  • Experience in child safeguarding and case management.

  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation.
