A mainstream primary school in Stalybridge, Tameside, wish to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2024, on a permanent basis.

This Ofsted rated GOOD primary school have a highly skilled, committed team who strive for the upmost success for their children and have a caring and supportive ethos at their core.

Primarily, this Teaching Assistant post will be to work in KS2, but the postholder will be required to be flexible across the whole school as needed. The successful applicant will have -

Initiative and the ability to work in a team
The ability to share the school aims and contribute to the ethos and vision for the whole school
A passion to work with all pupils from all age groups
Substantial experience
Commitment, flexibility, enthusiasm and humour
A genuine desire to support pupil well-being and SEMH needs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 3 is highly desirable, but not essential.
