SEND Curriculum ManagerJob Location: Stanmore Faculty: Health & Social Care, Early Years, SEND & CommunityFull Time and Temp until end of academic year An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEND Curriculum Manager to lead the SEND provision for both young learners (aged 16-19) and adults. You will oversee the cross-campus promotion, direction, and delivery of high-quality provision for learners with inclusion needs. This role also includes some additional teaching responsibilities.As an integral member of the Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the strategic vision and driving forward the SEND strategy, ensuring the needs of all learners are met effectively.Key Responsibilities:Curriculum:
  • Lead the development and delivery of an innovative and visionary SEND curriculum.
  • Effectively manage, develop, review, and improve the curriculum on an ongoing basis.
  • Drive quality initiatives to ensure the achievement and improvement of key performance indicators.
  • Identify, highlight, and share best practice across the institution.
  • Liaise with awarding bodies and other stakeholders to enhance the learner experience and maximise outcomes.
  • Implement quality assurance and improvement processes in line with both internal and external requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely data, using it to monitor, evaluate, and plan for improvements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, embedding new technologies, equality, and diversity into the curriculum.
  • Oversee the management and implementation of the curriculum timetable.
  • Manage initial and diagnostic assessments to ensure learners receive the appropriate support.
  • Teach up to 10 hours per week, as required.
Leadership:
  • Lead the development and implementation of foundation programmes.
  • Provide effective management, leadership, and staff development through performance objectives and appraisals.
  • Identify and advise on resources needed to meet the needs of learners with SEND and other inclusion requirements.
  • Ensure that all delivery meets funding, audit, and ECP/HNF requirements.
