Our client, a 450 employee based business, who is part of a multinational organisation, is currently delivering on a transformation change project within the operations side of the business. Alongside this, the HR team are delivering some key meaty projects around flexibility of working and strategic benefits.

By pushing back more workload to the managers within the organisation, it has created higher than normal levels of ER cases which are in need of more attention. To strengthen the team and volume of workload, the HR Director is looking to appoint an HR / ER Generalist on a 6 month FTC basis.

Reporting into the HRD this role with work with the HR Managers in delivering:

  • ER case work across all aspects from performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence issues and more.
  • Upskilling managers in training workshops alongside the HR Manager team.
  • Mentor and coach the HR Co-ordinator to develop them to build their career to Advisory level
  • A full review of the current HR policies, benchmarking them against the context to the business and building a framework around them, including roll out.

Key background:

  • CIPD Qualified
  • Experienced at Senior HR Advisor / HRBP Level
  • Strong Employment Law knowledge
  • Evidence of resolving high levels of ER cases
  • Policy review experience
  • Partnered a diversified workforce such as within Retail or Logistics sectors
  • Coached and influenced a broad spectrum of management styles
  • Ideally operated within a regulated / unionised environment
