  • Provide expert advice and guidance to ensure procurement and contract management comply with policies and regulations while delivering the best possible value.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and minimise risks and explore innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier and contract management framework to optimise supplier relationships.
  • Manage a range of procurement and tendering activities across various categories, using innovative strategies to maximise value.
  • Stay informed about procurement regulations and ensure compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.

What We're Looking ForOur client is looking for an experienced and motivated procurement professional with a proven track record of delivering results in the public, charitable, or not-for-profit sectors. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • At least 3 years of procurement experience, with strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations.
  • Demonstrable success in leading OJEU/TED procurements, using various procedures (e.g., open, restricted, competitive dialogue).
  • MCIPS qualification or progress toward full accreditation.
  • Expertise in spend analysis, category management, and delivering value for money.
  • Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Desirable: Experience in procurement related to repairs, maintenance, or asset management, as well as developing procurement policies and training materials.
