As part of their expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in Stevenage and drive business growth.
The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing tailored telecom solutions that enhance communication efficiency for businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across various industries.
- Present and demonstrate telecom solutions, including VoIP, broadband, mobile, and IT services.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals and account management.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the telecoms industry.
- Strong understanding of VoIP, hosted telephony, broadband, and unified communications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple prospects and sales pipelines effectively.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
