Prisons have a dedicated education department, with classrooms and fully functioning workshops, where teaching and learning can take place. You will be fully supported by an experienced education department. Training and development opportunities are available.
The role:
We are currently looking to hire a Trainer, to deliver Plumbing courses to inmates at a Cat C security prison based in Hertfordshire.
If you aren't a qualified teacher, this position will put you through your teaching qualifications and offer the funding and support to see you through it.
What you need:
- Teaching and/or Assessing qualifications or willing to work towards
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
- Experience in Teaching/Instructing others or sufficient industry experience
- Have an interest in rehabilitation and resettlement of Offenders
- Non-Judgemental
