The businessA leading management consultancy business based in Stockport is looking for an experienced PA to support the MD.RoleAs a trusted partner to the MD, you'll manage schedules, communications, travel, and key projects with precision and discretion. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate proactive problem-solving, and consistently anticipate the needs of the executive you support.Key Responsibilities: 
  • Efficiently manage the MD’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Prioritize tasks to maximise productivity and ensure critical commitments are met.
  • Organize travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
  • Prepare comprehensive travel itineraries and handle associated logistics.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft, proofread, and manage professional correspondence with accuracy and clarity.
  • Plan and organize meetings, ensuring all logistics are covered.
  • Prepare agendas, record meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Coordinate events, conferences, and team-building activities.
  • Create polished presentations, reports, and documents.
  • Manage expense reports and budgets related to the MD’s activities.
  • Maintain records and handle general administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Support the MD in managing various projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate training sessions delivered by internal and external experts.
  • Oversee training plans for junior staff, ensuring regular updates and reviews.
  • Partner with the HR advisor to manage contracts, inductions, and exit processes.
  • Conduct quarterly 1-to-1 meetings to support employee well-being and address concerns.
  • Assist in annual employee reviews alongside senior management.
  • Handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the MD, managing private projects and communications with discretion.
Person
  • Experience working as a Personal Assistant / EA or in a similar role.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
