A Primary SEN School in Stockport is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to cover a long-term absence. It is a successful school with a long and proven track-record of providing high quality education for pupils with ASD. The school has strong leadership, was rated as Good in their last Ofsted inspection and gives support and development to members of staff working in the school on a temporary basis.Details of the role and school:

  • The role is Monday to Friday and is term time only on a temporary basis
  • The person concerned will be working with a class of 12 Year 3 pupils, providing support to the pupils and working alongside other Teaching Assistants and the Class Teacher
  • The role will be supporting pupils with teaching and learning as well as with behaviour and social and emotional wellbeing
  • The person concerned will have recent experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant and have experience of working with children with Autism
