Business Development Manager (Healthcare Staffing), £40,000 Basic plus Bonus, Hybrid/Remote

Our client, MOONRISE 24hr Recruitment, are a dynamic, privately-owned care agency providing high-quality services. These services include; domiciliary care, supported living, children's services, and agency cover for both private and public sectors. With a decade of impressive growth in the care industry, they have established strong partnerships, including a nationwide NHS contract, and are committed to innovative, person-centred care delivery across our multi-site UK operation.

Hybrid/Remote working on offer but the sucessful candidate must live within a 2 hour commute from head office in Stockton on Tees in the North East.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to play a crucial role in their ambitious growth plans. In this position, your primary focus will be to increase business contracts across various healthcare settings, with a particular emphasis at first, on leveraging our existing NHS contract. You will develop and maintain professional long-term client relationships within the UK healthcare sector.

To succeed in this role, you'll require some proven experience in either healthcare recruitment or selling services or products to the NHS/healthcare sector. This role involves working closely with our service registered managers and MD, and will require occasional travel to client sites across the UK. You will have access to company vehicles for work related travel.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage our existing NHS contract to its full potential, developing new business opportunities across UK healthcare settings.
  • Plan and implement business development activities within agreed budgets and timescales, resulting in increased placements and revenue.
  • Nurture relationships with key NHS stakeholders and other potential clients in the healthcare sector.
  • Develop opportunities for nursing and care staff placement in NHS hospitals, community hospitals, care homes, and other care settings.
  • Provide advice and information to potential clients, presenting compelling proposals to secure new business.
  • Use customer analysis to direct effort to deliver the best return on investment
  • Collaborate closely with service registered managers and the MD to align business development efforts with operational capabilities.
  • Respond to and follow up on business opportunities using appropriate and timely methods.
  • Record, analyse, report, and update relevant systems and company information requirements.
  • Implement marketing initiatives as requested to support business growth.
  • Promote business development efforts on social media channels
  • Monitor competitor developments and activity, providing relevant feedback to management.
  • Attend and present at external and internal meetings as necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Work as part of the senior leadership team on strategic goals and initiatives.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams while also operating independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel when required.
