Mechanical Engineer (AC Bias)
Location: Teesside
Salary: Up to £38,000 + Company Van
Call-Out:1-in-4 rota, £100 standby fee, with a minimum of 3 hours paid for call-outs.

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Air Conditioning? We're looking for someone like you to join our clients facilities team in Teesside! This is a fantastic opportunity to work across five commercial sites, handling maintenance, repairs, and minor installations of HVAC systems.

What youll be doing
:
  • Performing preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems, including air handling units, small chillers, and split systems.
  • Working with VRV and VAV systems to ensure theyre running efficiently.
  • Supporting minor installation projects for mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Ensuring all work meets industry standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Contributing to team briefings and technical bulletins, keeping you up-to-date with the latest best practices.

What were looking for
:
  • F-Gas certification (City & Guilds 2079).
  • A full UK driving licence (clean).
  • Experience working with HVAC systems, especially AHUs, VRV, and VAV units.
  • Knowledge of H&S procedures in maintenance work.
