Senior Product Manager - Inside IR35

  • Contract Duration: 6 months 
  • Location: Stockton on Tees – onsite 3 days per week.

Our client is seeking a Product Manager on a 6-month contract. This role is vital for preserving the integrity and continuity of their product development processes during a period of transformation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Work closely with the Product team to capture and document detailed information on product architecture, features, workflows, and strategic roadmaps.
  • Oversee the gathering and documentation of product requirements.
  • Develop, refine, and manage user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Prioritise product features based on business impact and user feedback, aligning development efforts with strategic goals.
  • Maintain and update the Product Team board to ensure transparency and track progress on product developments.
  • Identify and address potential risks associated with the product transition and ongoing development.
  • Ensure product requirements are validated and prioritised, obtaining necessary stakeholder approvals and challenging existing assumptions.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and contribute to the evolution of product roadmaps.
  • Develop and execute a detailed transition plan that outlines activities, timelines, and responsibilities, and facilitate the onboarding of new team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in product management within environments undergoing significant business changes.
  • Proven capability in defining and implementing robust business analysis processes.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and project management practices.
  • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, with a focus on Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and capable of quickly adapting to changing environments.
