My client, a worldwide business with operations in multiple countries has a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the business. It's a fantastic time to join the company as they're growing organically and via acquisition.
The role will report to the Business Services Manager.
The Financial Accountant will work in a small team of accountants responsible the production of high quality management and statutory financial reporting. ?
Responsibilities:
- Posting of journals to support high quality financial reporting
- Completion of month end group reporting to overseas parent company
- Be the main point of contact with external auditors
- Produce statutory accounts for all UK companies
- Work with external experts to complete Corporation tax returns
- Take ownership of ONS and VAT reporting
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
About you:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Prior experience of producing statutory accounts for a complex business
- Prior experience in a Financial Accounting / auditing role, ideally with experience of manufacturing organisation(s)
- Good understanding of FRS101/102/IFRS
- Very strong abilities in Microsoft Excel
- Experience of SAP an advantage, but not essential
