Customer Service Advisor (Account Manager)Duration: 6 monthsRate: £12 per hourLocation: Stoke-on-TrentHours: 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team and efficiently manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer requests in a local branch, including new accounts, pricing, orders, and queries.
  • Process manual and credit notes, following established procedures.
  • Take payments from customers and reconcile banking for gas and equipment.
  • Calculate commission payments to agents and manage cylinder holdings.
  • Generate Proforma invoices using templates as needed.
  • Provide rapid resolutions and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and systems.
  • Identify sales opportunities and refer them to the sales team.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and agents to understand their needs.
  • Offer proactive service and outbound contact to select customers.
  • Manage work within KPI/target framework to optimize customer experience.
  • Process cash and card payments securely and responsibly.
  • Inform regular customers about new products, services, and pricing.
  • Resolve customer complaints related to products or services.
  • Advise customers on merchandise selection and answer inquiries.
  • Assist in accurate and timely stock counts.
