Michael Page Finance are representing an accountancy firm in Stoke are looking for an Audit Manager to join their expanding business. You will get involved in a wide range of responsibilities and be supported to successfully develop in your career.

Description

As an Audit Manager, you will be required to :

Work alongside the team to manage a portfolio of clients of around £400-500k GRFDelegate various accounting, audit and ad-hoc duties.

To attend and lead client meetings where required

Ability to manage a portfolio of clients

Plan and lead the audit to completion or overseeing a Senior lead an audit

Training and developing the team beneath you

Profile

Experience working in an Accountancy practice in a similar role

Drive to progress through studies and build a successful career.

Gained experience with the management of juniors

Commercial awareness

Qualified (AAT, ACA, ACCA)

Experience of accounting standards and experience of a wide range of clients.

Proficient in IT systems such as Xero, Excel, Sage

Ability to develop client relationships and understand client service standards.
