We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Group Treasury Manager to lead and oversee a Group Treasury function for our globally recognised client. This hybrid role (2 days per week WFH), reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing treasury operations at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Daily Treasury Operations: Oversee and manage daily treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, ensuring that the Group’s financial needs are met efficiently. Improve

Cash Flow Forecasting: Guide and support business units in cash flow forecasting, ensuring alignment with the Group’s overall strategy and enhancing forecast accuracy across the organization.

Identify Financial Risks & Opportunities: Analyse and communicate potential risks and opportunities related to cash management to optimize liquidity and maximize cash flow.

Ensure Strategic Alignment: Ensure that business unit forecasts align with the Group’s strategy, including timely revenue collection, supplier payments, and maintaining sufficient cash to fund operations.

Protect Company Assets: Maintain robust procedures and internal controls to safeguard the Group’s cash assets, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Manage International Teams: Lead and support a global treasury team, offering guidance, direction, and expertise to drive effective treasury management practices.

Manage Banking Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external banking partners to ensure seamless operations and provide effective banking solutions.

Lead Treasury Projects: Oversee and execute treasury-related projects, including banking transitions, managing competing priorities, and applying sound project management practices to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Requirements

Experience: Significant experience in treasury management with a proven track record of successfully leading treasury functions in a complex, multi-unit, and international business environment.

Financial Modelling Expertise: Ability to create integrated, detailed financial models for planning and analysis, with strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of the interconnectedness of business functions in manufacturing and commercial environments.

Decision-Making Skills: Experience in identifying and defining critical data requirements to enhance decision-making and improve treasury operations.

Banking Relationship Management: Expertise in managing complex banking relationships and navigating sophisticated banking structures. Project Management: Proven success in leading and delivering banking transition projects while balancing competing priorities effectively.

Leadership & Proactivity: Strong leadership experience, particularly in guiding international teams, with a proactive mindset and the ability to identify and implement solutions in dynamic environments.
