Description
- Leading the financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial health.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Managing risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the executive team with strategic decision-making.
- Working closely with stakeholders to ensure value for money and strong financial governance.
- Lead and manage the accounting & finance department
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies
- Reviewing all processes and procedures
Profile
A successful Interim Finance Director should have:
- Qualified accountant
- Proven experience as a Finance Director within social housing sector
- Experience of reporting and presenting complex information to Boards or Committee
- Experience of strategic finance, business planning and cost analysis
- Evidence of developing processes and procedures
- Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Experience of performance improvement, quality assurance, risk management and value for money improvement
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Offer
- £550 - £650 a day
- Hybrid role - 2 days on site
- 3-6 month role
